Remember this sweet girl? In her last photos, she was 6 weeks old. Now she's 9 months! Time flies! Her mom requested a pumpkin patch for her fall portraits, and we did one better by finding a pumpkin patch/apple orchard to play around in. It was a perfect fall evening with one super sweet little pumpkin.

As I was uploading these photos last night, I realized that I took this family's portraits exactly the same weekend last year. They certainly have a talent for picking the best fall weekends. It was a bit chillier this year than last, but still gorgeous despite rain earlier in the day. Enjoy your sneak peek!
Here's a quick sneak peek of Baby "E" from our pumpkin patch/apple orchard photo shoot on Monday. She was pretty wary of the camera, but I got a few sweet smiles out of her just before we left.
These photos are for one of my closest friends. We've been friends most of our adult lives, and I've known her husband almost as long as I've known my own. I loved taking these photos for her, and I hope she loves them as well.
I first photographed this sweet little girl when she was only 3 months old. Hard to believe she's almost 3 years old now! Enjoy your sneak peek!
Here's a quick sneak peek of the "E" Family's portrait session on Monday. This was the last photo of the evening. It's funny how often the last picture turns out being one of my favorites.
I met this lovely family through the MOPS group that I am a member of. I sat next to mom at one of our very first social events and knew she was someone I wanted to know. I love this family. Her little girl (a tiny baby when we met) just turned 2, so this session was her 2-year old photo shoot as well as a family session. Little Miss "M" is a doll with the prettiest eyes, and her brothers are so charming. Seriously, if we still know each other when my girls are old enough to date (you know, when they turn 30), I'm fixing them up with these two. They're so sweet and respectful. All three kids said thank you at the end of the session. Their mama is doing a great job with them!
I'll be honest. Some photo sessions are difficult. This little guy was cute as a button, but he really wasn't feeling it this morning. He was cutting teeth and clearly wasn't feeling well. Yet regardless of how terrible a parent sometimes thinks a session is going (and lots of parents do for various reasons), there are always keepers. Check out this sweet smile! Enjoy your sneak peek, mom and dad. And don't worry. There are lots more keepers
I think all of the little ones I photograph are special. Really, I adore each and every one of them. But there was something extra remarkable about this little guy. I have never had someone so young look right at the camera. And not just occasionally, but for almost every single shot (except of course when he was distracted by his feet...he was only 4 months old after all). Here's the very sweet and very attentive Baby "L" and his lovely family. The expression on his face in the next one just kills me!
