I couldn't have asked for better weather for this morning's photo session with the "W" family. These guys were great sports letting me try out a new photo spot. It may become one of my favorites. I think even the kids had a good time exploring. Enjoy your sneak peek "W" family!

Tonight's photo session involved a little road trip to Province Park in Franklin, Indiana. If you live on the south side of Indy, it's worth checking out. It's a very large and very pretty park. I found out when I got there that this family chose that park because it's where they got married. How sweet to have family portraits taken in the same spot where you were married! Here's a quick sneak peek of Baby L. Stay tuned for more photos of this cute little man and his mom and dad.
All of my sweet babies are growing so fast! Do you remember this darling girl? She was my baby in a basket. Here's a quick sneak peek of my (almost) six month photo session with Baby "S".
One of the things I love about my job is meeting new people, especially people as wonderful as the clients I had this weekend. I first met this family three months ago when I took baby pictures of then 3 month old "baby E". I was touched to be asked to take his 6 month photos as well. I'm so sad they're moving away next month. :( Enjoy your sneak peek.
I realize I've been absent from blogging for quite awhile. I've been busy enjoying the summer with my family and turning my camera on them for a change. Hopefully I'll get some of those pictures posted shortly. In the meantime, here are some long overdue photos of my nephew. He's grown so much since I took these that I think he's due for another photo session!
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing my first set of twins. These sweet babes made my job so easy! They were nearly 3 months old at the time these photos were taken, but they slept as soundly as newborns. Honestly, the hardest part of my job was deciding which sweet pictures to include in their album. Lots of baby cuteness to share! Big brother fell asleep first. He was such a sound sleeper that we were able to change accessories and backdrops several times. This sweet hat and the cocoon were crocheted by my amazing sister, the creative genius behind Allie Doodle Designs. Makes me smile every time. :) Not to be outdone by her brother, baby sister was a remarkably sound sleeper as well. She slept through hats, background changes, and being placed in a crate. I wish my babies had slept like this! Mom and Dad received these sweet "princess and the frog" hats from Beloved Creations. The entire time we had them posed like this, brother kept licking sister's head. And if those two weren't enough cuteness for one post, they also have an adorable big brother. Congratulations to the "B" family! More photos from their album are available on my Facebook page.
Today I'm excited to show a sneak peek for two of my clients. The first is a friend who asked if I could do a few portraits of her son in his moose hat. The little guy was not real fond of the hat, but he looks cute as a button in it! The second sneak peek was my first infant session with twins. These two were super sweet and so well behaved! I'm thinking if I had twins, I'd want two sweeties as even tempered as this pair!
I hope you all had a wonderful spring break! We got out of town for a few days and headed down to the Smoky Mountains. I've been a flatlander all my life, but I'm a mountain girl at heart. Indiana seems kind of depressing in comparison. Luckily we've had beautiful weather this week to welcome us home. I finished up this little guy's album before I left, but this is the first opportunity I've had to post it. What a lovely family and a sweet baby boy! Isn't that hat the sweetest?! His mama bought it here.
I've just finished this little doll's album. She was such a funny little thing...trying so hard to stay awake. Every once and awhile she'd drift off, and I'd snap a few sleeping baby shots. Then she'd wake up and look around with a look on her face that said "what...I wasn't sleeping!" What a great little model!
