Last March I had the pleasure of photographing my sister's wedding.  That was a pretty great experience, but not as awesome as this past weekend when I got to photograph the happy couple's new addition.  Welcome to the world, baby "C"!  Here's your sneak peek.  Isn't my nephew just the sweetest thing?!  Look at all that red hair!

I'm generally not a big resolution maker.  Sure, I may have a few from time to time, but I'm terrible at keeping them, so I typically keep them to myself.  But not this year!  I'm making a resolution to be better at organizing my family photos.  I have a plan in place, and I'm determined to make it work.  The other night my laptop's hard drive started making an ominous clicking sound signaling its impending demise.  As I quickly backed everything up to an external drive, I was forced to acknowledge just how out of control last year's photos had gotten.  So, in addition to keeping my resolution to keep 2013's photos under control, I need to make some sense of 2012's photos as well.  I'm dedicating a few hours a day to making sense of the chaos.  Today I unearthed and edited a quick fall photo session with my girls.  It was actually an impromptu session.  We'd gone to the park to check the lighting and scope out some locations a couple of days before my fall mini sessions (my type A personality at work...I like to be prepared).  Bug is always willing to ham it up for the camera.  I didn't get as much cooperation from Monkey, but I got a few almost-smiles out of her.  Here are a few of my favorites.
