I'll be honest. Some photo sessions are difficult. This little guy was cute as a button, but he really wasn't feeling it this morning. He was cutting teeth and clearly wasn't feeling well. Yet regardless of how terrible a parent sometimes thinks a session is going (and lots of parents do for various reasons), there are always keepers. Check out this sweet smile! Enjoy your sneak peek, mom and dad. And don't worry. There are lots more keepers

I think all of the little ones I photograph are special. Really, I adore each and every one of them. But there was something extra remarkable about this little guy. I have never had someone so young look right at the camera. And not just occasionally, but for almost every single shot (except of course when he was distracted by his feet...he was only 4 months old after all). Here's the very sweet and very attentive Baby "L" and his lovely family. 
The expression on his face in the next one just kills me! 
I couldn't have asked for better weather for this morning's photo session with the "W" family. These guys were great sports letting me try out a new photo spot. It may become one of my favorites. I think even the kids had a good time exploring. Enjoy your sneak peek "W" family! 
Tonight's photo session involved a little road trip to Province Park in Franklin, Indiana. If you live on the south side of Indy, it's worth checking out. It's a very large and very pretty park. I found out when I got there that this family chose that park because it's where they got married. How sweet to have family portraits taken in the same spot where you were married!
