Kristyn's dress was gorgeous! While it was very elegant, it was somehow still informal and absolutely perfect for an outdoor wedding.
Earlier this month I watched through the lens as one of my closest childhood friends tied the knot. I had so much fun doing this couple's engagement session back in June, so I knew the wedding would be fun and creative. Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day. For a larger photo album, check out my facebook page. Kristyn's dress was gorgeous! While it was very elegant, it was somehow still informal and absolutely perfect for an outdoor wedding. And the flowers were amazing! One of my favorite elements of the whole wedding was the music. Instead of traditional or classical music for the ceremony, Kristyn and Jason had a live band playing Christian praise music for the processional. It was like going to a wedding and a concert all at the same time. The band was very talented and did an amazing job! Of course, everyone was almost upstaged by these cuties. I mentioned that Kristyn and Jason are a fun couple. They didn't take their wedding too seriously. Most brides would probably freak out if they found out their wedding site was immediately adjacent to a big construction project. Not Kristyn...she just had fun with it. They had a little fun with their shoes as well. The whole wedding party wore blue tennis shoes. The bride's shoes even sparkled. Forget tradition. This couple prefers pie. Behold the wedding pie! Congratulations to Kristyn and Jason! I pray that God will bless your marriage and that you will have a wonderful life together. On an unrelated topic, what do you think of my new "watermark"? I got tired of my sunburst watermark covering up people's faces. I may still play around with it a bit, but I love how it frames the pictures. Thoughts, comments, and suggestions are appreciated!
