I know I just posted this photo a couple of weeks ago, but it was just perfect for this month's photo challenge at I Heart Faces. The theme this month is "Hey Girl". Head on over there and check out the beautiful photos of lovely ladies and sweet little ones.

This week's photo challenge at I Heart Faces is "Oh So Silly". Since Monkey's full name is "silly monkey", she was an obvious candidate! Here she is baking cookies and hamming it up for the camera. Love that girl!

Photo challenges intimidate me because there are so many amazing entries. However, I promised myself I'd do a few this year, so here it goes. This is my favorite face photo from 2011. I think what I love most (aside from his amazing eyes) is that it was totally unposed. He'd been giving me cheesy grins all evening, and I happened to catch him in a genuine smile. No doubt he's laughing at the weird angle at which I'm dangling over the railing of this rather high overlook to get the shot.
